* HIGH LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE 360, JIRA, AND CONFLUENCE TOOL SETS
* AGILE KNOWLEDGE (SAFE) / CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
* CBAP CERTIFICATION
* INSURANCE DOMAIN AND PRODUCTS EXPERIENCE, WORKING IN QUOTING, UNDERWRITING, RATING, POLICY ADMIN SYSTEMS, CLAIMS SUBJECT AREAS

TRAVEL - 20% travel required depending on the need (to and from the COMPANY office locations)
The Business Analyst Specialist is responsible for facilitating epic definitions with CGM business owners, defining the expected business outcomes and key results for each epic, high level feature decomposition, and ensuring epic-feature-stories have the appropriate acceptance criteria necessary to ensure implementation success within a fast-paced agile environment. The Business Analyst Specialist also stewards the lean business case process which includes defining high level cost for each epic, the associated benefits (objectives and key results) for each epic, and top line/bottom line impacts to 5-year financial plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform problem-definition and epic definition * Steward and maintain lean business case updates to program epics, as part of CGM strategic imperatives using a variety of complimentary techniques * Responsible for clarifying and/or reviewing user stories with the agile team in a timely fashion; empowered to make critical decisions quickly; Ensure user stories meet the definition of ready * Managing features and stories from a customer perspectice; identify, comunicate and break down features to MVP * Experience with roadmap development, epic hypothesis, lean business case, and lean portfolio planning * Providing periodic status updates to business stakeholders and upper management; is the point of contact for the agile team with the business and SMEs - In collaboration with RTE and Scrum Master * Facilitiate sessions to elicit requirements and document process flows * Conduct GAP analysis for current shortcomings and potential changes in the business processes * Managing cross-functional technology projects

Lead business leaders and subject matter experts through a variety of activities including:
* Proactive elicitation and synthesis of market, business, and system architecture information through interviewing, surveying, workflow analysis, and business rule documentation / analysis
* Understanding of group carriers. Who are the top carriers in dental, small market, etc. Candidates should know where COMPANY sits against the top 10-15. Specifically, for voluntary benefits like dental, vision, supplemental health
* Understand key group insurance financials like premium, persistency, claims saving terms preferred
* Support portfolio prioritization efforts and lead business initiatives as necessary. PM skills are required, but do not need formal PMP Certifications
* Conducts User Acceptance testing
