RWJBH is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to work in our Nursing Administration Department. This is a day shift position, however the perspective employee must be flexible to work other shifts as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Demonstrates ability to perform integration of nursing regulatory, accreditation, and throughput reports via both computerized and manual formats.

* Demonstrates the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, Optimun, Allscripts SCM Patient Flow, ADP and various other computer programs to record and analyze data with accuracy and in a timely manner.

* Demonstrates the ability to use various computer applications to produce reports as necessary.

* Demonstrates the ability to perform transition procedures between manual and computerized reports methods during downtime and recovery periods.

* Demonstrates the ability to distribute and display reports on nursing units as directed.

* Project is completed according to the established guidelines and time frames of the requesting party.

* Effective time management skills are used to ensure the timely completion of project without jeopardizing normal daily work requirements.

* Flexes hours to meet the requirements of assigned projects.

* Utilizes lulls in workload to assist others where feasible.

* Demonstrates ability to perform basic computer and printer troubleshooting.

* Demonstrates ability to independently complete in class or online tutorials related to new systems or systems upgrades.

REQUIREMENTS:

* HS Diploma or equivalent required.

* Bachelor degree preferred

* Experience with databases, spreadsheets, word processing required.

* Contact with hospital staff, medical staff and administration.
