Job Description:

TITLE: ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DEVOPS

LOCATION: CHARLESTON, WV

The Infor ION team seeks a motivated individual with solid technical credentials for the position of Associate Software Engineer within our DevOps team. You will be a contributing member of the team, helping to develop tools and scripts responsible to integrate and deliver our software to our cloud customers. This is a chance to do something cool and exciting!

A DAY IN THE LIFE TYPICALLY INCLUDES:

* Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) automated processes to ensure consistency and timely delivery of our products to customers.

* Participate in planning by analyzing requirements, estimating work effort, performing demos, etc.

* Write technical documentation

* Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

* Recent Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field, within the last 24 months, preferred.

* Hands-on experience with Python, and Java Be prepared to tell us about a project you have worked on that used one of these languages.

* Knowledge of Scripting languages: Bash, Linux Unix Shell

* Understanding of API technologies, Docker Containers, Web Containers, Cloud Technologies (AWS, Google or Azure) etc.

* Experience with tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Postman/Newman, Selenium, etc.

* Basic working knowledge of databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Neo4j, Titan, etc.

* Be familiar with terms like: Web services, Cloud, CI/CD, Containers

* Good communication skills and a curious mind
