POSITION DESCRIPTION
Northside Cherokee Hospital will be holding a cath lab internship in the Spring of 2021. The Cardiac Cath RN will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology, and other cardiovascular procedures by circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing for procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a Georgia Registered Nurse license.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
One (1) year experience in ICU, CCU ED, or Cath Lab.
Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation. RCIS certification preferred.
Must be able to work 4 (10-hr) shift schedule and take call (30 min response) upon completion of internship

WORK HOURS: 0700-1730
WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: No
ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes.
