POSITION PURPOSE Conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES 1. Supports the manufacturing teams in an effort to meet production goals. 2. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment. 3. Assists and trains other maintenance and/or other technical level employees to maintain and operate equipment efficiently and in a safe manner. 4. Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment. 5. Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with Company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements. 6. Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components. 7. Informs appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved. 8. Maintains Company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. 9. Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed. 10. Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting. The above responsibilities are intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this position. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- QUALIFICATIONS Include minimum qualifications for formal training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or working experience. Identify the level of knowledge; skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required to perform the essential job responsibilities and duties competently. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical or 2-year degree preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance
- Excellent electrical knowledge
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, SLC 500, and Panelview+ programming; Experience with AC drives, servos, sensors, flow meters, and Ethernet, AutoCAD experience preferred; High speed automation and packaging and process experience preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent mechanical skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume work environment
