Position Summary

Responsible to manage key customer relationships to include negotiating customer agreements that deliver against annual operating plans while successfully delivering against the customer's expectations and contributes to the success of the company by executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts.

Position Responsibilities


  • Manage multiple Key OTS market accounts focusing on Pricing/PP Architecture


  • Maximizes sales and distribution of our products through the development, negotiation and communication of Customer Development Agreements (CDA) and marketing promotions.


  • Lead Incremental Space programs, OTS/Chilled Blitz's


  • Communicates with Market Director, Unit Managers, SMSMs and TAMs, retailers and employees on issues regarding EDV, FEA, & calendar items, group pricing (MVC Local OTS "Key Accounts"), products, equipment programs and store execution issues as they arise.


  • Coordinates with cross functional partners (finance/brand/marketing) to forecast scrub and make marketing resources relevant to OTS market.


  • Manage, develop, train and direct CDARs


  • Responsible for the future state of TPM


  • Executes G&J's AOP strategies and programs for assigned retail customers.


  • Develop contracts for new business and medals upgrades


  • Assures that customer related economic initiatives are within budgetary guidelines (e.g. CDA's, NSP, Gross Profit, MEM, marketing programs) and conforms to the appropriate return on investment (ROI).


  • Conducts frequent OTS market tours to ensure execution of programming and provide feedback on marketplace execution across the broader organization.


  • Prepares periodic sales reports, pricing models, analysis and ROI's as needed.


  • Initiates, prepares and conducts internal as well as external customer business reviews and planning meetings as necessary.



  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information, promotions, pricing, CDA contracts, profit and loss reports, customer information, employee information (e.g., discipline, wage information) and other sensitive and confidential information.


  • Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g., OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).


  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required to meet workload demands.


  • Performs other related duties as required.


  • Location Open to any within the G&J Pepsi Territory


Skills & Abilities

Education:

Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) or equivalent work

experience. Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

3+ years sales and/or management experience, preferably in the retail industry

Computer Skills:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel; previous experience with SharePoint and Office 365 strongly preferred.

Certifications &
Licenses:

Valid Driver's license and must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.

Other Requirements:

Working knowledge of DSD operations. Demonstrated people and leadership skills with track record of achieving positive business results. Highly effective facilitation, presentation, and other communication skills. Knowledge of: retail sales environment; beverage industry; standard selling practices; promotional development; financial management. Skill in: selling products & promotions; external & internal customer service; analyzing financial statements & understanding organizational impact of sales & pricing decisions. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently & independently; multi-task; communicate effectively with customers & other employees both verbally & in writing; adapt to change; relate to & influence customers/other employees; develop & maintain good working relationships; problem solve; delegate; operate a computer; influence at high levels of the organization; demonstrate organizational leadership skills using a collaborative team approach; balance internal/external volume & profit goals to achieve targets; identify plan gaps with the ability to build & execute contingency programs. other functions, skills & abilities may also apply.
