Job Description:

Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inspector - Night Shift (12 hour shifts 6:00pm - 6:00am, 4-day working rotation) at our manufacturing facility in Lithia Springs, GA. The Inspector will r eview and inspect various finished products to ensure adherence to quality guidelines. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform incoming inspection per applicable procedure.


• Ensure that inbound shipments are from properly licensed vendors. Interface with Corporate Regulatory Department to obtain licenses from unlicensed suppliers.


• Train branch personnel on Compliance with Quality System Regulation (QSR), Department of Health/ Board of Pharmacy, and Medline policies, procedures and work rules.


• Monitor approved documents and identifies errors or omissions for correction.


• Operate test equipment and perform simple measurement activities.


• Perform Stock Checks and Rework inventory when requested.


• Maintain working/reporting relationships and communication with branch management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior quality control experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting required.

• Basic level math skills.


• Intermediate level understanding of FDA/ QSR/ ISO14551 guidelines.


• Intermediate level knowledge of ANSI/ ASQCZ1.4-current revision.


• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).


• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).


• Must be available to travel from state to state for training or project assignments.


• Lift up to 60 pounds. Sit, walk or stand for prolong periods of time. Display specific vision abilities including, close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F - 95F). Ability to encompass heights. Frequent bending and kneeling.


• Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week.

• Associate's degree.
