Job Description:

PAPÉ KENWORTH – KELSO, WA

PRODUCT SUPPORT MANAGER:  Responsible for managing the Parts and Service sales and operations at the branch including carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Oversee and direct parts and service activities to obtain projected / incremental volumes, profits and goals.

  • Work with General Manager to develop and communicate service and parts sales strategies, product targets, goals, targeted / conquest accounts, projections and budgets.

  • Develop and manage major account parts and service sales.

  • Determine and maintain departments staff levels to ensure customer service and acceptable expense levels. Recruit, interview and hire qualified people.

  • Manage, train and direct members to achieve sales, profit, and product development goals.

  • Manage equipment needs, i.e. delivery trucks, required tooling, through budgeting, capital expense requests and accurate record keeping.

  • Manage return parts to satisfaction of customer and the company.

  • Manage inventory of parts through various reporting systems to monitor turnover, stocking and inventory levels.

  • Present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

  • Maintain customer relations by resolving customer’s problems/disputes through continual communication in a timely, correct manner.

  • Coaching, counseling and training of members through use of Plan of Assistance, Performance Reviews and Wage Reviews.

  • Calculate and manage commissions for Product Support Representatives.

Applicant must have strong people and marketing skills, with an understanding of budgeting, planning, merchandising, goal setting, and daily operational ability. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Prior experience in Parts and/or Service Management preferred.
