Mold Setter at Monoflo International, Inc. in Ottawa, Kansas

Job Description:

The Mold Setter will complete changeovers, perform maintenance, and assist in the repair of all injection molding machinery, related auxiliary, and automation equipment used in the injection molding and assembly operations. The individual will assist the Maintenance Engineer and the Production Manager in identifying problems and developing solutions that will increase productivity.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete changeovers as per schedule in a safe, timely and professional manner.
  
  
  
  • Ensure proper use of crane, forklift, and mold carts
  
  
  • Ensure proper connections of electrical, hydraulic, and cooling systems to the mold.
  
  


• Maintain and repair all machinery and related equipment in a timely manner while upholding the highest quality standards of work.


• Document and report status of all maintenance and repair work performed on the machinery and equipment.


• Assist in maintaining correct spare parts inventory levels.


• Complete any tasks or other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Engineer.

Experience

• 2 year(s): Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an injection molding environment
