POSITION TITLE: Production Specialist I

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Safety First. The production specialist's primary responsibility is caring for the hens. 


• Responsible for ensuring hens have proper access to feed and water, monitoring ventilation and lighting, and keeping the layer house and its equipment clean.


• Understand and follow all safety procedures, utilizing appropriate safety equipment at all times. Know and obey all traffic and safety laws/regulations.


• Perform all duties and tasks related to maintaining a safe work environment.


• Perform all duties and tasks related to safety and security of buildings, equipment, tools, hens, and all company property.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team


• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work


• A record of good attendance with a flexible schedule


• Experience caring for animals or working in agriculture
