OVERVIEW:


  • Broadleaf has been selected to provide network operations support for the System Deployment Integration and Network (SDIN) in support of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (C3T) Directorate at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.

    • The Tactical Internet Management System (TIMS) provides various Network Operations (NETOPS) functionality in support of the Army Capability Sets, the Integrated Tactical Network Environment (ITNE), and the Common Operating Environment (COE).

    • The System Deployment Integration and Network (SDIN) is a DoD resource managed and operated by the CECOM SEC that brings together resources and capabilities into one centralized location in which Joint and Coalition users can share resources and communications assets in order to support and prepare for unique missions.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Satellite installation and operations, configuration, and operation of Warrior Information Network Tactical (WIN-T) Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT), cable installations, and Satellite network design.

  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in joint tactical voice, data or video communications operations, programming, configuration, and operation of CISCO NEXUS 7000, configuration and operation of CISCO NEXUS Fabric Extenders, CISCO 3900, and CISCO ASR 1000/1001 Routers

  • Four (4) years working experience on secure voice operations utilizing Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP), Installation and operation of REDCOM Slice and Internet Protocol Security Encryption (IPSEC)

  • Two (2) years working experience on the installation and operation of the Panther and Cheetah satellite terminals

  • Configure and patch routers and switches experience

  • Experience running backups and/or using backup software.

  • Windows Server (2012-2016) maintenance experience (configuration, deployment, patching)

  • Windows Servers/services such as- Active Directory, WSUS, DNS, and managing Group Policies.

  • Assist teammates to complete tasks as assigned

  • Perform server and switch/router backups as directed

  • Preferred experience using/configuring ESXi VMware, Red Hat, ACAS, and HBSS.


  • Must have strong knowledge with routers, switches, and firewalls and have the ability to configure all in compliance with IAVAs and STIGs.

 
EDUCATION:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.

    • Three (3) additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

CERTIFICATION(S):


  • IAT Level I

    • A+ and/or Network+ preferred

CLEARANCE LEVEL:


  • Active Secrete Security Clearance
