Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Nursing Services Manager to add to our team of professionals. This position will provide integrated health care to patients as well as lead, direct, train, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver and promote integrated health care.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Physical Assessment: Assess physical needs. Make referrals as necessary. Provide emergency interventions as required.
Care Navigation: Activities include but are not limited to the following: Serve as professional nursing link between patient and physicians, pharmacist, case managers, and any other care providers; linking access to appropriate services; assisting in monitoring overall health, as well as coordinate activities to assure patients gain access to necessary resources to maintain overall wellness.
Patient Advocate / Liaison: support and promote patients' rights as they navigate the health care system and communicate their needs and preferences to providers.
Education: provide education to improve the health literacy of patients and staff regarding physical needs, medications, wellness, and safety.
Pharmacology: Dispense, provide education and administer medication. Assess and monitor patient adherence, response to medication and potential adverse reactions.
Data collection: Gather relevant data in order to determine the needs of the clients and the needs of the programs in order to provide quality, integrated care.
Partnerships: Collaborate with non-medical staff, both internal and external; to insure all clients’ health care needs are addressed.
Wellness/Primary Prevention Activities: Assist in assessing chronic health needs of individuals and the population. Participate in the development and implementation of individual or group wellness and prevention activities.
Supervision: Provide orientation, training, and staff development for nursing services team throughout Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare. Provide supervision to nursing staff to include scheduling, coverage of nursing needs in programs, and assuring quality of care provided.
