Manufacturing Operator - New Milford, CT

Job Description

Manufacturing Operators are responsible for running, monitoring, and troubleshooting the equipment used in making, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly Clark products.

Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate high speed technologically advanced manufacturing equipment.


  • Master all process elements including troubleshooting and basic repair.


  • Exhibit appropriate interpersonal skills necessary to work as a member of a high performance team.


  • Perform quality checks.


Basic:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12 hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.


  • Position requires regular physical effort including pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending.


  • Some job areas may experience extremes of temperatures.


  • Basic Computer skills.


  • 1year of verifiable work experience.


  • Position requires learning to drive industrial tractors/forklift/paddle/clamps.


  • A strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment.


  • Basic understanding and application of safety policies and practices.


  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including self-motivation.


Preferred:


  • Mechanical, technical or manufacturing skills or related experience.


  • Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution.


  • Previous or current experience with industrial tractors or forklift operations.
