OVERVIEW


Provide excellent service to our customers in store and over the phone by responding to their order concerns, researching customer inquiries, upselling, and making outbound calls as follow-up. Communicate with a variety of audiences, both within and outside the organization. Communicate with Web management team daily. In daily communication with store associates ensuring the store is running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining store presentation and motivating staff to meet sales goals. Running day to day operations of the store making sure the store has necessary supplies and resources to be successful. Take the lead in escalated customer service issues and maintenance issues. Collaborate with other businesses. Merchandising experience a must.


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create a monthly schedule for the Client Experience team, ensuring the store has complete coverage while honoring requests off

  • Performance management of both the store and the employee

  • Involved in interviewing and selection of prospective new employees

  • Train current and new hires on systems, policies, selling techniques, product and product care

  • Develop daily sales goals based on company budget and plans how to achieve sales and margin goals

  • Brand and company ambassador

  • Learn selling features of product to train staff and enhance customer experience

  • Inventory management with reorders of products and supplies, monthly inventory cycle counts

  • Re-merchandise the store monthly with brand image in mind, keep floor fresh for returning customers

In case of pandemic - navigate unknowns in unprecedented times to create a curbside pickup program and establish safe procedures for handling in store customers and transactions. Anticipate these procedures over the next year



  • Collaborate with management on engaging and appealing monthly events (outside of pandemic) for customers to attend to and to help boost sales

  • Work with team to set up successful Sample Sale twice a year

  • Support other areas of the company as needed

 


QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Store Manger with Store Merchandising Experience

  • Previous retail management experience (2 yrs. Minimum)

  • Excellent knowledge of customer service, retail, merchandising and team management

  • Sensitivity and understanding towards employees and customers

  • Familiar with basic computer skills – using Windows based programs, Shopify

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate, use decision-making skills and other resources, and resolve conflict in a professional manner

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Professional, flexible and positive team player that is self-directed and self-motivated

  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays and Sundays
