Job Description:

An exciting career opportunity for Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist is now available with a non profit reputable hospital in beautiful, coastal and picturesque Western Washington!

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist will work with a medical center that serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Greater Seattle area and the surrounding communities. The hospital features inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and 24-hour emergency department.

Under the direction of Manager or Director of Radiology and Procedural Services, Lead Technologist and Physicians, the Interventional Radiology IR Technologist will assist interventional providers in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic interventional procedures in radiology and neurovascular, cardiovascular, and electrophysiology (pacemakers/devices).

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist will perform special procedures, cardiac cath lab procedures, CT and Ultrasound procedures if applicable, at a technical level not requiring supervision. The Interventional Radiology IR Technologist will perform a variety of interventional/invasive procedures requiring independent judgement.

The Interventional Radiology IR Technologist will be responsible for implantation procedures in labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitoring/stimulation systems, devices and supplies.  The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist will have area of assignment in Radiology Services, Angio Labs, and SPL.   

The ideal candidate for Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist should have Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and/or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) preferred.  American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).  Previous Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician experience and VI or CI preferred.
