As a NEONATAL TECH, you will provide primarily indirect patient care as a supportive resource for tasks delegated and supervised by the NICN Registered Nurse.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

* You will support patient care by preparing daily feedings, cleaning equipment, stocking supplies and staffing the front desk in each area.

* You will be responsible for accurate quality control checks pertaining to direct and indirect patient care. This includes testing glucose monitors, checking temperature logs & responding to discrepancies, and other objective patient data as assigned.

* You will document patient care activities accurately, timely, and complies with Infection Control precautions.

* You will clean and maintain areas and equipment per manufacturer's recommendations. You will maintain a orderly, safe patient environment. You will stock cubbies and equipment and supplies according to patient needs.

* You will prepare feedings for patients according to the Feeding Room policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

* A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
