This position will be focusing primarily on our Reserve Power applications, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.
Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst position supports Energy Systems Americas business unit ($1B+) covering Telecommunications (Cable TV, Telco), Renewables, Industrial for both North, Central and South America. Assist in the development and maintenance of sales support tools using Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP Business Objects platforms. Develop new methods to support the dynamic sales landscape.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain forecasting tools in coordination with Sales and Manufacturing partners
- Develop and maintain revenue budgeting tools in coordination with Sales and Accounting partners
- Develop and maintain sales reporting tools with various sales channel partners
- Support manager with data collection, formatting, and report maintenance
- Support other internal customers with ad-hoc information requests
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes
- Develop new ideas and methods to enhance communications with a diverse and remote sales organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in a related field
- 1 to 2 years in related field
- Familiar with Pivot Tables
- Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and ERP
- Self-driven and independent
- Able to adjust talks on short notice as priorities change
- Experience supporting a remote sales organization
