Overview

For over 40 years, DiaSorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.

Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager who is responsible for direct and indirect procurement strategic and tactical plans, vendor selection, negotiations and contract management covering our Stillwater, MN and Cypress, CA locations. Your ability to drive improvement through strengthening business processes and team member talent will help us meet customer, business and team member needs.

Experience

A great Senior Procurement Manager can establish manufacturing strategy to drive improvement to near term KPI's and the long-term vision. You are the focal point for scouting, new supplier introduction and supplier performance and management for optimal customer service and cost efficiency. You love to communicate cross functionally and develop and motivate engaged, knowledgeable teams.

Technical Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, economics or engineering field
APICS certification desired
Experience in project management and leading change
Ability to facilitate meetings, ask the right questions and remove obstacles
Experience with procurement or supply chain within the medical operations industry or other regulated business

Skills

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 and 21 CFR 820 guidelines and practices
Negotiation and commercial skills required to deal with internal and external stakeholders
Cost Analysis techniques
Understanding of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, NRC and FDA)
