JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for establishing, maintaining and monitoring of environmental, health & safety programs to protect human health, the environment and control related Jabil business risk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company personnel in compliance with local, state, regional, and national safety and health rules and regulations.
Lays out manufacturing workspace to optimize safe working environment.
Develops training materials to increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness.
Conducts/assists in (safety) audits, accident/injury investigations, trend analysis, risk assessments and ergonomic assessments.
Leads/participates in cross functional teams for EHS issue resolution or for new equipment/process approval.
Assists in development of chemically safe work practices, institutes and revises lockout/tag-out procedures, confined space/permit program and, process safety rule procedures.
Supports inspections & maintains OSHA or equivalent local regulatory required documentation.
Ensures compliance with EHS policies including operating procedures and protective equipment requirements.
Performs gap analysis and internal audits against global EHS Policy and measure effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions against internal and external audit findings.
Maintains safety files and records.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required in a related field
2-4 years of related Health & Safety experience.
Experience in a manufacturing (CMO) organization is advantageous
Good communication across all levels & ranks
Ability to work in a matrix organization
