Position Summary:
As the Dining Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the dining service department of the community.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for general kitchen management including food ordering, receiving and inventory, menu planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Food preparation and plating
Maintains food and safety regulations, ensuring that all work/storage areas are sanitary
Manages resident food preferences by capturing feedback from various residents and stakeholders.
Supervises and trains dining service staff to establish a personal connection with residents and maintain Enlivant’s hospitality standards
Upholds Enlivant’s mission, vision, and values
Exhibits good time management and organizational skills
Possess the ability to handle complex issues
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a dining role
ServSafe Managers Certificate (obtain within 90 days of employment)
Must work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed
The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory position within dining services
Restaurant, kitchen management, food service or banquet experience helpful
Three to four years of dining and/or hospitality experience
A minimum of one-year culinary experience in senior living or skilled nursing facility preferred. Proven culinary skills based on experience
Supervisory experience a plus
