JOB SUMMARY

Provides additional support for the Quality Engineering department, including, but not limited to, data analysis of quality issues and the preparation of quality documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the collection, preparation, and analysis of quality data

• Creates quality documentation (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, First Article, and FAPs)

• Assists QE with PQ Protocol and PQ Report

• Completes daily signoff of MRB and daily QA reject review and signoff

• Prepares quality reports, quality alert forms, and updates procedures and documentation

• Assists in tracking and summarizing quality concerns and the investigation of process

defects to determine root cause and corrective actions

• Assists with capability studies

• Supports continual improvement by participation in CAC and QIC meetings

• Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rules

EDUCATION AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma OR GED OR equivalent

AND

• Experience in engineering technical disciplines

• ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQT) desired

• Advanced reading, writing and math skills

• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of programs used at Jabil

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including ability to speak

effectively to groups of customers and employees

• Ability to deal with tight deadlines which change rapidly

• Must be able to collect and analyze complex data and prepare reports

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Individual may be required to sit, stand or walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. Time will be spent on the manufacturing floor, attending meetings, interacting with employees, including management and customers. Specific vision requirements include reading

documentation and frequent use of a computer monitor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primary workstation is the office area, with some time spent each day on the manufacturing

floor.

The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
