Job Title: Elasticsearch Solution Consultant
Location: Carlsbad, CA / REMOTE
Duration: 3 months +

NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Elasticsearch Solution Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) to join their team.
This new team member will Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable solutions in the cloud using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana)
Establish and support Elasticsearch execution environment
Conduct performance benchmarking, analysis and turning
Provide consultancy on the use of Elasticsearch related technologies
Troubleshoot production issues and support end users
Assist with requirement gathering, capturing of technical designs, and creation of test cases
Participate in collaboration with Cloud Engineering, Storage, Monitoring, and other teams to ensure cloud deployments are performant and reliable
Participate in working with IT Security to ensure the solutions meet data security and compliance requirements
Need understanding of security concepts with experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements
Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and highly motivated individual
Ability to take ownership of work assignments and manages them to completion
Ability to convey complex information in both written and oral form to both technical and non-technical audiences
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
8+ years' IT experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana)
A minimum of 5 years in developing scalable solutions
A minimum of 5 years strong programming experience in languages such as Java, Python
1-2 years hands-on experience with cloud computing such as AWS
1-2 years experience with database technologies and SQL
1-2 years experience with Splunk and Agile / Scrum solution delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
Experience with Kafka is preferred
