Position Summary:

Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and/or patient services, the Senior Food Service Associate performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety, and assisting in training of new Food Service Workers.

Required Qualifications:

* Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

* Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

* Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

* Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience

* Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques

* Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
