We are currently seeking a Mainframe Engineer to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Hands on engineering role supporting complex mainframe servicing applications.

* Expertise in Mainframe technologies including TSO, COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, VSAM

* Deep Understanding of service design for the mainframe environment including exposure of services outside.

* Thorough understanding of mainframe systems architecture and exposure to multiple technical disciplines including:
o API
o Angular JS
o Cloud Technology * Possesses a high degree of technical competency to design and develop mainframe servicing applications using current tools and technologies

* Collaborative working with the client's technology and business staff day-to-day

* Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the client and deliver on project goals
Strong ability to learn new technical skills and abilities. Flexible to address work and issues outside immediate scope. * Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents complex global applications

* Skilled in building mainframe servicing systems, CI/CD and Test Driven Development (TDD),

* Deep understanding of designing for scale

* Memory management in programming language

* Knowledge of Common Frameworks

* Database principles and Data Architecture/Model

* Knowledge of Basic Algorithms and approaches in optimization of algorithm

Basic Qualifications:

* 5 Years of experience in Mainframe-CICS
