Who are we?
SOLitude Lake Management - a proud member of the Rentokil family of companies - provides aquatic management services to lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and wetlands. SOLitude offers a wide variety of services including fishery programs, algae and aquatic weed control, mechanical harvesting/hydro-raking, installation/maintenance of fountains and aeration systems, and water quality testing. What do our Operations Managers do?
Responsible for providing excellent service to customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Supervision of all field and shop activities of service technicians including reviewing maintenance reports, receiving and monitoring requests for service, installation, quotes, setting schedules, truck and equipment maintenance, monitoring parts inventory and performing monthly equipment maintenance and inventory.
Job Responsibilities, Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensures growth and productivity goals are met or exceeded
- Prioritizes and assigns work to Aquatic Field Staff
- Manage a safe workplace by advocating drivers safety training
- Ensures all accidents are reported in accordance to the safety/accident policy
- Assess performance and provide timely feedback to ensure colleague development and growth
- Reinforces Solitude's mission to serve and core values to promote as positive work environment
- Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements
- Seeks consistent improvements

What do you need?
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders
- Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
- Consist of outdoor work on and around lakes and ponds, operating small boats, performing equipment installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Must be able to carry up to 75 pounds on uneven shorelines.
- Bending, stooping, twisting and carrying of multiple objects and/or tools required. Install, service & repair electric motors, water pumps and air compressor systems.
- Applicants must be responsible and dependable and mechanically inclined with some electrical knowledge beneficial.
- The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, sit, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands and arms to grasp, handle, reach and feel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in a repetitious manner.
- Travel: Overnight travel using the company vehicle, will be required
- Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search
