We are currently seeking a VM Engineer to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Require a team of Service/Site Reliability Engineers to engineer and manage a complex, cloud-based infrastructure across multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) as part of a larger DevOps organization.
* Solution Architect to configure private/public cloud for financial company and IBM
* Possess good working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, IBM PowerVM, and KVM
* Possess good knowledge on design and architecting application in public cloud like AWS.
* Good knowledge on OpenShift/Kubernetes and building cloud native applications.
* Experience in design and implementation of a continuous build-test-deployment (CI/CD) system with multiple component pipelines using Jenkins, Git BitBucket, Artifactory, CHEF, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, Hashicorp Packer, JIRA
* Experience in building monitoring solutions using Splunk, AppDynamics & Turbonomics
* Experience working in agile team using Scrum for project execution and delivery.
* Understanding of Programming Languages- Python, javascript, Java, Shell Script & PowerShell
* Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) Certifications Professional level preferred with 2+ years managing public cloud-based infrastructure
* DevOps/Scrum experience and certifications; proven track record of successful sprint planning and delivery
* Experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible)
* Experience with modern tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
* Expertise in multiple version control systems (Git, GitHub, BitBucket)
* Specific experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Experience with performance testing and analysis tools (AppDynamics, Splunk)
* Fluency in Linux environments (Redhat)
* Scripting and programming skills (Python, Java, JavaScript)
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in Virtualization V(Cloud)
Education
* Bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification
