Osceola Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Facilities Management team. The position will be PRN.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Plant Operations Director the Maintenance Mechanic I performs preventative and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment, buildings and grounds to ensure the comfort and safety of patients, physicians, visitors and employees. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola Regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Osceola Regional Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* High School Diploma or GED * Trade school courses are helpful but not required.

* Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.

* Knowledge of blueprints.
