Federal Advisory Partners is looking for an Analyst II to join our team of dynamic healthcare consulting professionals.Our Analysts play a critical role in the continued long-term growth of the company and spend a significant amount of time interacting with clients, coordinating and leading project team members and developing and contributing to work products and contract deliverables.

Please note, this position will be based at the client site in Crystal City, Virginia and is contingent upon receiving the award. The Crystal City client location is conveniently close to public transportation (bus and Metro) and parking options are nearby.

Responsibilities

Our Analysts spend a significant amount of time overseeing the development of deliverables, as well as interacting with clients and project team members. The portfolio of projects can include, but is not limited to, quantitative business analysis, revenue cycle management, budget planning, financial modeling, performance measurement, research analytics, process improvement, policy implementation, compliance, training and strategic communications.

We are looking for candidates who possess a tendency towards action, have innovative ideas and the ability to anticipate where a client's needs may be 12 months from now to achieve extraordinary results.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the application of analytical techniques and help define project objectives and strategic direction.

- Responsible for providing information and analyses work products to client and project teams.

- Resolve complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies and principles.

- Perform data collection, interviewing, data modeling, product/service testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.

- Conduct activities in support of project objectives.

- Manage project tasks, ensuring quality assurance and data validity, supporting project plans and providing resource estimates to ensure deliverables and timelines are met, including frequent ad hoc requests.

- Present project deliverables and findings to senior project stakeholders and practice area leadership as required, using graphs, tables and other strategic information to summarize analyses and results.

- Contribute to an innovative and team-oriented work environment with individual accountability and ownership to the success of the practice.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the client organization, strategic goals, governance structure and overall client environment.

- Conduct analysis to identify market and other macro trends that impact client business operations, and share knowledge both internally and externally, as appropriate.

- Develop and deliver effective internal and external presentations and skillfully facilitate client and internal team meetings.

- Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks and utilizing available resources.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree required.

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience preferably within a healthcare, actuarial, or consulting setting.

- 2 years of experience in mathematics, calculus, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject matter courses requiring substantial competence in advanced college level mathematics or statistics.

- Experience with advanced techniques, such as optimization, data mining, statistical analysis and mathematical modeling, to develop solutions that help businesses/organizations operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.

- Experience with or managing a team that utilizes current analytic applications/software (such as Office Suite, Adobe Pro, Visio, R/R studio, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SQLite, SPSS, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Duplicate File Detector, MiKTeX, Rtools, AnyLogic Professional, Python, Angular/React, AWS, PowerBI/Tableau, Github and Microsoft Project).

- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.

- Microsoft Office mastery (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Preferred: active Public Trust Security Clearance

- If clearance is not currently in place, we require the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
