Exponent's is currently seeking a Hydrologist for an Associate level position for our Pasadena, CA, Oakland, CA, or Bellevue, WA office. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, including a range of analysis techniques and modeling tools. Experience with water quality evaluations and water quality modeling is desired. Experience in litigation support is a plus.
This position requires expertise in one of more of the following areas: Hydraulic Analysis, Hydrologic Evaluations, Climate Change Hydrology, Aquatic Chemistry and Water Quality Assessment.
Qualifications for this position include:

Ph.D. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, Limnology, Water Resources, Oceanography, or similar discipline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in managing projects and multidisciplinary teams

Experience with common modeling tools is desired (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, surface water-groundwater modeling tools, computational fluid dynamics models such as Delft-3D, etc.)

Experience with handling and managing large datasets and data visualization is desired
