We are currently seeking a Scientist in our Practice in Bellevue, WA. In this role you will work as part of a team to analyze human performance in a variety of contexts that span occupational and process safety, vehicle operation, sports, consumer products, and more. Activities in these contexts would focus on a combination of analyzing accidents and injuries that have occurred in the past and managing safety risk to help prevent such incidents in the future.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a range of consulting activities that involve human factors issues, such as limitations of human perceptual, cognitive, and response capabilities
- Developing client contacts
- Working on multi-disciplinary projects, data processing, and other project support
- Conducting research to obtain and review technical data, scientific literature, and standards
- Participating in the design and evaluation of safety information
You will have the following skills and qualifications:

Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related fields

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills

Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Assertive, self-starter, and able to work with accuracy and flexibility under pressure and/or deadlines

A desire to expand present knowledge, especially as related to various industries and applied contexts
