Job Description:
At Parsons, our Engineer teams provide design, rehabilitation, construction, condition inspection, construction inspection, and structural services for all Transportation Road & HWY work for ADOT.

We are looking for a strong leader to join our team; one who inspires loyalty and commitment and understands how to design and deliver structural engineering projects in Utah and Arizona. This position reports to the VP of the region and requires a solid track record of managing design and design-build projects along with familiarity with Arizona DOT standards in our Tempe Arizona office, with travel expected.

In this role, you will oversee and manage the overall structural design on both conventional and design-build projects for structural projects. We need your technical expertise, to oversee the structural design team's technical deliverables and ensure that we meet project schedules from design through construction. Using your technical expertise, you will ensure the highest quality of engineering is put forth to meet all design criteria requirements. Our Engineering Managers are heavily involved in identifying new business and participate in the proposal process, and then stay technically hands-on throughout the life cycle of the project. We expect you to identify new opportunities with your current contacts in the regions and help grow our business. You will be involved in mentoring and coaching our structural teams, lead the performance evaluation process, and helping us to recruit/hire and grow our team in these regions. Additional responsibilities include monitoring the quality and progress of the structural discipline on each project, ensure all DOT requirements are met, and interface with the clients and partners on programs.

Qualifications:
20+ years of related project execution and/or program management experience on same or similar large scope design and construction management projects
Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required
Experience with both conventional and design/build projects required
Must have experience working with DOT requirements - Arizona DOT's..
