Associate Product Manager EPFR| Financial Intelligence
Informa Financial Intelligence is seeking an Associate Product Manager focused on our suite of Asset Management solutions to join the growing EPFR Product Team.
This individual will work across the EPFR to bring new products and features to market that solve problems and address pain points for our users.
The Associate Product Manager will be a leader in the organization that helps to shape the product offerings and solutions we provide to clients. The individual will help identify gaps and needs in the market as well as define and prioritize requirements for solutions to those needs and collaborate across functions to launch solutions into the market. The person should be passionate about finance, technology, and data and be able to take ownership of a project to guide a team to success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for new product development and project execution with support of product manager/senior product manager
* Development of functional requirements
* Ownership of Project(s)
* Understand and help set priorities for each product and help implement those priorities
* Maintenance of product back-log
* Key input to QA as customer validation check
* Lead beta efforts with assistance from PM/SPM
* Participate in engineering meetings stand-up, planning poker, retrospective, and sprint planning
* Work with engineering team day-to-day to track progress on various solution initiatives
* Provide technical expertise to clients, prospects, and salespeople regarding EPFR web interface, data delivery options, and automated systems.
* Communicate with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and gaps in offerings
* Owning usage analytics
Required Experience::
* BS Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, or other analytical field or equivalent experience working with technical teams
* Knowledge of modern software engineering workflow methodologies, particularly scrum
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Interest in financial markets and the financial services industry
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working directly with technical teams via internships, co-ops, or projects
* Background or coursework in statistics
