Job Description

Regional Bankers will build a solid foundation by completing three training segments:

- Operations
The first segment is spent learning how to successfully complete teller transactions in compliance with bank standards. Including receiving and paying out money and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Sales
The second segment is spent learning to identify the needs of customer and connecting products and services to meet those needs. This will include opening new accounts and referring to business partners.
- Customer Experience
The third segment will be completed before permanent placement. Both Operations and Sales will be combined to provide a differentiated customer experience by helping customers with any need they may have.
After successful completion in all segments, Regional Bankers will be eligible to be placed in a permanent branch position and perform both sales and service activities as customer needs dictate.
The primary responsibilities will include:

* Greet and engage all customers in an energetic and welcoming manner

* Develop and retain long-term and profitable customer relationships to maximize revenue growth by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services to meet those needs

* Follow-up with customers to focus on acquisition, expansion and retention of customer relationships

* Conducting quality sales conversations to meet assigned personal and team goals
Candidates for the Regional Banker position will maintain a high level of proficiency with bank products and processes. Candidates will also maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements include:

* Ability to travel to various branches within the assigned area

* Good written and verbal communication skills, including consultative selling and presentation skills

* Proficient with applicable computer software

* Good organizational and customer service skills

BANKING CENTER HOURS:
Monday - Thursday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday; 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday; 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sales Goal oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills, including consultative sales and presentation skills and cross-selling skills
Proficient with applicable computer software. Good organizational and customer service skills

This position requires a High School Diploma, or GED, with Associates Degree preferred
Zero to two years of sales experience is required.
