Job Description:

A&P Mechanics perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Company aircraft and aircraft components in a competent and effective manner. They use experience to diagnose problems, determine solutions, and complete work, with or without supervision. Lynden Air Cargo is a US part 121 all-cargo airline based in Anchorage, Alaska. Lynden Air Cargo conducts operations within Alaska as well as other locations around the world, utilizing its fleet of L382 Hercules aircraft. We are looking for FULL TIME Aircraft Mechanics who want job stability and the opportunity to travel the world.

 
Our A&P Mechanics can gateway at their home base - LAC has approved gateway cities throughout the lower 48 states and will provide transportation to and from your worksite.

Fleet:

Lynden Air Cargo operates the L-382 Hercules aircraft to move materials and supplies to remote and challenging destinations in the Alaskan Bush and around the world.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be a US citizen or provide proof of right to work in the US

  • Must pass pre-employment FAA DOT drug test and participate in random drug testing

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Must possess a current US Passport or have the ability to obtain US passport

  • TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check

  • Must be able to travel to domestic and international locations without restrictions, including foreign military bases

  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings

  • Must be able to provide your own tools

  • Must be able to work any shift

After 0.5 $29.48
After 1 $31.01
After 2 $32.54
After 3 $34.07
After 4 $35.60
After 5 $37.13
After 6 $38.66
After 7 $40.19

 

LAC may recognize prior experience when hiring and place an employee in the progression scale at a rate above the minimum (start) level. LAC holds previous military experience in high regard for initial placement on the step scale.
Premiums, Qualification Based (added to base wage)

$2.70 For each FAA Airman Certificate rating (Airframe or Powerplant) or FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License – max. of two (2)
$2.70 For each ASE rating – max of two (2)
$1.35 For Line Pay (on aircraft touch labor.)
$2.25 For Engine Runup & Taxi authorization / endorsement
$3.15 For RII authorization / endorsement

 
TRAVEL

Up to six months out of the year.
