Job Description:

A&P Mechanics perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Company aircraft and aircraft components in a competent and effective manner. They use experience to diagnose problems, determine solutions, and complete work, with or without supervision. Lynden Air Cargo is a US part 121 all-cargo airline based in Anchorage, Alaska. Lynden Air Cargo conducts operations within Alaska as well as other locations around the world, utilizing its fleet of L382 Hercules aircraft. Our A&P Mechanics can gateway at their home base - LAC has approved gateway cities throughout the lower 48 states and will provide transportation to and from your worksite.

Fleet:

Lynden Air Cargo operates the L-382 Hercules aircraft to move materials and supplies to remote and challenging destinations in the Alaskan Bush and around the world.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Must be a US citizen or provide proof of right to work in the US


• Must pass pre-employment FAA DOT drug test and participate in random drug testing


• Must possess a valid driver’s license


• Must possess a current US Passport or have the ability to obtain US passport


• TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check


• Must be able to travel to domestic and international locations without restrictions, including foreign military bases


• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings


• Must be able to provide your own tools


• Must be able to work any shift

LAC may recognize prior experience when hiring and place an employee in the progression scale at a rate above the minimum (start) level. LAC holds previous military experience in high regard for initial placement on the step scale.
Premiums, Qualification Based (added to base wage)

$1.35	For Line Pay (on aircraft touch labor.)
$2.25	For Engine Runup & Taxi authorization / endorsement
$3.15	For RII authorization / endorsement

Up to six months out of the year.
