Job Description: This position must have strong leadership & organizational skills, flexible schedule and will supervise all aspects of the department - Assist and train all warehouse staff in all aspects of the inventory control department SOP functions – follow and adherence to all B&G SOP’s, SQF, QC, QA and HACCP programs, procedures & policies.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and monitors daily inbound and outbound shipments ensuring smooth work flow at the shipping and receiving docks.


• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.


• Distribute picking lists to warehouse operators ensuring all picks are completed and staged prior to pick up appointments.


• Maintains shipping and receiving logs.


• Monitors inventory by preparing and verifying weekly cycle counts. Reports all inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.


• Maintain daily forklift check-off logs ensuring these are done daily and the file is kept up to date.


• Prepare all documentation for posting and assist with posting if required.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times and the warehouse is routinely swept and cleaned.
