Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Leads gathering analysis, documentation and validation of business and / or technical needs using interviews, workshops and modeling techniques
Documents business and / or technical needs using textual and visual modeling deliverables designed to help Cub meet its strategic objectives.
Facilitates medium to large sized groups of individuals, representing significant diversity in interest and level of leadership, to a common understanding of a solution
Fosters team building and self-driven skill development through active participation in appropriate training, mentoring and certification programs
Consults with subject matter experts and project team members to identify and document potential business and technology solutions
Helps define standards for all aspects of the requirements analysis function and process.
Identifies, manages and tracks business and technical objectives throughout the project’s lifecycle
Identifies and communicates project issues and risks to IT and business unit management with suggested mitigation and resolution approach options
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of assigned areas and their integrations with other areas, while analyzing retail industry trends and researching functional best practices
Coordinates project or initiative tasks with relevant team members, stakeholders and leadership
Independently manages day-to-day business interaction and business expectations in relationship to assigned deliverables.
Builds strong relationships with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other IT team members/partners
Maintains the requirements documentation to ensure accuracy of a solution’s requirements is managed through its lifecycle.
Identifies, submits, and drives the development and implementation of requirements management process improvement needs.
Conducts assessments of how existing requirements management collateral (documentation, research or other materials) can be more effectively utilized throughout their related area, where applicable.
Defines and documents workflow business processes with a limited number of simple business interactions according to Cub’s artifact standards.
Performs Business Process Design modeling as appropriate

Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
5+ years relevant work experience preferred
Preferred work experience in IT, retail, or retail organization
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
Ability to manage competing priorities
Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
