Manages the overall IT infrastructure for Cub Foods Holdings LLC. Sources and negotiates Information Technology (IT) hardware, software and service contracts with the goal of lowering costs of goods, ensuring quality and service by leveraging total company spending. Oversees implementation and daily support to ensure SLA’s are met and Cub’s environment is current and stable. Oversees design and implementation of changes to the environment.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Oversee IT Infrastructure and managed services partners for areas to include Network, Security, IT Servers, Cloud providers, and data center operations.
Select and manage vendor performance for IT Infrastructure areas
Responsible for the development and negotiation of contractual performance metrics and service levels
Negotiates IT Infrastructure services and IT Managed Services agreements
Responsible for successful and sustainable implementation of IT services.
Manages vendor performance metrics and ensures vendors are meetings SLA’s, enforcing compliance as appropriate
Evaluation of vendors, services, and costs to ensure Cub has the right solutionin place commensurate with the Cub strategy and cost model
Evaluates and possesses a strong understanding of technology total cost of ownership cost elements
Researches alternative sources of supply and vendor selections
Ensure Network and security design standards are upheld to secure our internal, employee, and customer data is safe and secure
Communicates issues and reports to management and takes action as appropriate
Develops long-term strategic planning with key vendors to bring competitive advantages to Cub
Develops and continuously improves Vendor Management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Develop company infrastructure standards and architecture standards including server, OS, cloud provider, and SDLC
Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
5+ Years experience with IT infrastructure
2+ years experience IT infrastructure leadership
Previous experience with IT contracts and IT managed services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess high degree of initiative, creative, innovative, proactive skills and abilities
Good interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships at all levels of the company and in the business community
Good project management, leadership and supervisory skills
High level of analytical and financial skills
Possess the ability to create and make management presentations
Understanding of technology cost structures
Experience in negotiating contracts
Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office
2 + years technology purchasing/ sourcing related experience
Physical Environment
Most work is performed in a temperature controlled office environment
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
Position may require travel
