Senior Programming Models Architect, HPC at Nvidia Corporation in Santa Clara, California

Job Description:

We are looking for an Architect to focus on NVIDIA's work in HPC Programming models. This architect will work with product management, engineering, hardware developers and research scientists to enable HPC and HPDA developers in an array of applications including weather forecasting, high-energy physics, computational fluid dynamics, materials science, life sciences, astrophysics, mechanical engineering and related fields.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborating with product leadership to establish and execute on a strategy for enabling developers on NVIDIA Accelerated HPC systems
  
  


• Working hands on with HPC compiler and library engineering designing compilers that deliver on the strategy with an incredible developer experience
  
  


• Representing NVIDIA in standard language bodies and advocating for NVIDIA's HPC programming model strategy
  
  


• Working closely with CUDA SW driving the development of the CUDA programming model for HPC developers
  
  

What we need to see:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience
  
  


• Meaningful experience in a technical product leadership role at a technology company
  
  


• 8 years experience working on programming models relevant to HPC and international standards bodies
  
  


• Proven ability to collaborate with world-class interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• 8 years experience with production compiler architecture
  
  


• Experience and familiarity with GPU computing and scientific computing applications
