Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation Services is responsible for the Reconcilement of General Ledger and internal Demand Deposit accounts for various Lines of Business to ensure the integrity of the firm's balance sheet. LOB's include: Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Banking and Asset Wealth Management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team responsible for reconcilement of General Ledger and internal Demand Deposit accounts for Merchant Services, Digital, and CTO related accounts.
Manage and direct the overall team activities and monitors progress.
Strengthen and ensure sustainment of the control environment.
Collaborate with business partners. Work closely with the Finance Controller Organization.
Support corporate and line of business projects that impact reconciliations; involved in all change event activity.
Ensure adherence to corporate accounting standards and risk policies.
Advise business partners on process design, operational accounting and improving controls.
Partner with Finance on financial budget preparation and monthly changes.
Create executive level reports, presentations, and communications to assist with driving business objectives.
Assist with issue escalation, solution determination, and issue resolution.
Manage business management activities.
Participate in high level business initiatives.
Lead efforts to sustain employee engagement and supporting people leader development.
Develop and deliver key messages to stakeholders and employees.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely.
Demonstrated experience leading projects and/or initiatives.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task; strong organization skills.
Experience in production, process improvement, process mapping, risk, controls and/or project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to summarize findings into concise high level points geared toward the audience.
Strong issue resolution skills.
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (e.g., Excel and Access).
