DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Define and implement Data Governance processes. Facilitate sessions with various stakeholders to understand business problems and define operating models. Assist with creation and syndication of Data Governance process documentation to stakeholders and users within the firm. Help with user enhancement request review and prioritization process, developing the Data Governance book of work and providing transparency to requesters. Create business requirements for future releases of the firmwide Data Governance tool. Work with business leads to understand requests, design solutions, and translate into requirements. Serve as Product Owner for initiatives within the firmwide Data Governance program. Partner with technology teams at each SDLC stage to lock scope and plans, create project plans, define requirements, develop functional design, plan and execute testing strategy, and communicate release notes to users. Develop Atlassian JIRA structure and project management process to facilitate tracking status, documenting requirements, testing, resourcing strategy, capacity planning, and accountability for projects. Ensure releases are delivered, identifying and addressing any issues ahead of production going live. Develop material for senior management and board reporting packages. Execute ad hoc projects across the various work streams and functions. Collaborate with and offer support to internal FDM teams. Collaborate with the training and operations teams to develop training content on Data Governance processes and application functionality. Assist with user adoption for new data governance processes and application functionality by showcasing our products in user forums and providing demos for potential business integrations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a three or four-year Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Management, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Associate, Process Associate, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: process design using Microsoft Visio including developing operating models in Microsoft PowerPoint and Confluence; developing functional specifications using Microsoft Excel; Data Governance; banking industry regulatory requirements; and deploying enterprise wide solutions. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Agile Project Management and delivery using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence; leading a feature team to deliver application enhancements as a product owner; creating training material using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; and configuring Microsoft SharePoint to maintain the centralized documentation for projects, user enhancement requests, testing, training and guidance.
