HPE Ezmeral is an enterprise grade solution that accelerates customers’ journey from hybrid to cloud through its unified container platform. This solution is designed for cloud-native and non-cloud native applications which allows the customer to run on any infrastructure: either on premises, in multiple public clouds, in a hybrid model, or at the edge. Combining 100% open source Kubernetes with unique software innovations and integrated persistent storage technology, customers can now modernize existing enterprise applications without re-architecting. This software provides enterprise-scale Kubernetes-based platform specialized to run Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications and tools.

Seeking talented System Software Engineer to design and enhance HPE Ezmeral. Candidate will design and build infrastructure lifecycle management capabilities that addresses various operational and security challenges. The candidate will be exposed to a broad variety of emerging AI/Machine Learning and Big Data technologies.

How You'll Make Your Mark:

• Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.




• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.




• Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.




• Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.




• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

About You:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related degree program




• 5+ year's experience with container-based platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)




• 5+ years experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other Public Cloud Services




• 5+ years of experience in designing and supporting enterprise infrastructure system software




• In-depth knowledge of Linux.




• Knowledge on the following technologies is a plus - storage, network configuration, fault tolerant, monitoring, and data security.




• Experience with C and Python. Knowledge in GoLang and Erlang is a plus




• Experience in delivering multi-tenant, enterprise software, delivered as a service (SaaS) in both on Premise and Cloud Infrastructure
