Pharmacy Tech - Must have experience in IV Compounding - Valdosta Georiga

Barnes Healthcare Services is looking for a Pharmacy Tech/ Account Representative (AR) to work with the Infusion Pharmacy department. 

• Only appilcants who have worked as a Pharmacy Tech  before will be looked at.


• Handling initial infusion pharmacy customers and referral contact either via the web, or over the telephone. Customer contacts might be with the patient, care giver, referral source, commercial account, or payor.


• The PhTech ensures all customer orders are received, qualified, and processed in accordance with procedure, and in a timely, efficient, accurate, and courteous manner to ensure the highest level of customer service and accuracy. 

The PhTech will have lead responsibilities for communicating with the infusion patient, payor, referral source, locations, and other Barnes’ teams and charged with coordinating the processing of new orders from receipt to ticket origination.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Preferred; High School Diploma required 


• Pharmacy Technician Registration Required, ChPT Preferred with two years of pharmacy experience preferred. 


• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and preferable experience with a medical billing software.
