FBR is seeking a Business Resiliency Associate to support our expanding book of work related to Firmwide resiliency reporting and data analytics. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills (e.g. analytical, communication, and creative problem solving). The Business Resiliency Associate with work alongside other members of FBR, the development team as well as with LOB and functional partners to coordinate the development of reporting and visualization solutions that can be leveraged at a Firmwide level.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively collaborate with technology and LOB partners to build best in class reporting and analytics solutions
Analyze product roadmaps, epics, and wireframes to develop master story lists
Utilize visualization tools and capabilities as proof of concept coupled with an iterative approach with technology team and business partners for refining design and developing high level business requirements
Partner with technology team and business stakeholders to translate wireframes and high level requirements into stories that are clearly defined with specific acceptance criteria and delivered on time
Recommend functional prioritization of features for development to provide incremental value
Coordinate Discovery and Refinement sessions with stakeholders to determine future requirements
Engage in UAT testing, production readiness reviews and post-production deployment validations
Support report production
Grow subject matter expertise in Firmwide Resiliency processes and practices
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
3+ years demonstrated experience supporting the implementation of complex enterprise-wide initiatives
Proficient with visualization tools
Experience working with agile practices and tools (Jira, Confluence)
Experience with UI/UX design
Experience project managing small to large scale projects
Demonstrated experience in analyzing processes and translating high level business requirements into detailed stories
Enthusiastic, self-driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as on a team
Knowledge and experience working within the US financial services sector a plus
Experience with Resiliency / Crisis Management / Risk Management a plus
Knowledge of CORE (Control and Operational Risk Evaluation) system and CORE data relationships preferred.
