Commercial Card - Product Controls Manager, VP

Description

The commercial card market continues to experience significant growth due to constant innovation and a strong customer-focused, value proposition. JPMorgan Chase's industry-leading commercial card offering includes Corporate Card (T&E), Purchasing Card, Single Use and One Card products.

As a Product Controls Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership in the execution of process mapping, risk identification, developing control recommendations, daily issue management, action plan remediation and client corrections across the Commercial Card organization to allow for consistent and effective controls management. You will also be asked to encourage a control-conscience environment, full transparency of the issues / gaps and effective implementation of control measures.

Responsibilities include:


  • Working with the Legal, Risk and Compliance teams execute plans to strengthen our control capabilities
  • Ensuring we stay compliant with Control rules and regulations
  • Lead cross-functional teams to:

    • Identify control gaps / issues
    • Fully capture / reflect the scope / scale / complexity of the issue
    • Ensure proper remediation and sustainability of solution
    • Communicate progress to senior leadership

  • Monitor key performance metrics for the organization
  • Project manage ad hoc strategic controls projects as needed
  • Update and maintain controls documentation

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in a Controls-related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within financial services, preferably card product management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence are required
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward in a complex highly matrix organization as well as with internal and external partners and across geographies in a collaborative manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • High-energy with the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
  • Bachelors required, MBA preferred
