Company Overview
At Motorola Solutions, we create technologies our customers refer to as their lifeline. Our technology platforms in communications, software, video and services help our customers work safely and more efficiently. Whether it's helping firefighters see through smoke, enabling police officers to see around street corners, or reliably keeping the lights on in homes and businesses around the world, our work supports those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Bring your passion, potential and talents to Motorola Solutions, and help us usher in a new era in public safety and security.Department OverviewThe Federal Cybersecurity (FCS) organization provides a variety of services and support for our Federal Government customers. The Federal government has many mandates and guidance documents that define the requirements for cybersecurity in IT systems such as DHS 4300a, DoD 8500.01, Executive Orders, and agency-specific mandates. These high-level requirements are the root of hundreds of lower-level guidance documents. Since MSI products share components with IT systems they must comply with these directives to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) according to the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).

To support our customers in meeting these objectives, the FCS organization works with MSI development engineering and 3rd parties to address these ever-changing government requirements. The scope of work includes system hardening, system documentation, vulnerability scanning, compliance audits using DISA STIG and SRGs, assessment of 800-53 controls, and working with the customers' personnel who assess system risk and make decisions on granting ATO. Our labs provide additional support for government requirements for Host-Based Security System (HBSS) and PKI authentication.Job Description
