The SUA PM will have primary responsibility, through a team of four dedicated technicians, to develop and execute a deployment plan for Air Force SUAs alongwith programs within the four major commands.Job Description
The PM is responsible for managing the SUA budget and developing technicians' roles and tasks to ensure a successful migration of these critical, high-visibility projects. SUAs are particularly challenging due to customization's deployed throughout the enterprise creating a need for customized testing in a lab environment. As such, the SUA PM will own the relationship with Upgrade Operations and third-party vendors to develop and execute strategies and test plans to ensure a flawless production deployment performance.
Responsibilities:

Extensive verbal and written communication with stakeholders, technicians and engineers throughout the project life cycle

Present plans answer questions and provide regular updates to the customer

Identify issues that may interfere with quality, cost or time-frame and recommend options to manage impact

Promote and foster a healthy culture and environment in managing resources to maximize throughput and retention

Assess the business and organizational implications of various strategies
-
Travel for in-person design review meetings at which the PM will host and drive the meetings
Additional Requirements:

Experience defining business and technical requirements and managing resources

Strong organization skills and a high attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to balance multiple concurrent responsibilities of varying priorities and shift focus from one to another with minimal loss of productivity or work quality

Knowledge of Motorola Radio systems and equipment desired

Prior military experience is highly desirableBasic Requirements
