POSITION PROFILE

POSITION: SR. ANALYST, CONTRACT OPERATIONS, GOVERNMENT PRICING & ANALYTICS

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position will be part of the Channel & Contract Operations department and will have the primary responsibility and accountability for the administration of Government Rebate Agreements and the analysis of data utilized by the programs. The individual will compile, analyze and interpret both internal and secondary data sources and provide insight based on the analysis. This position will be based in Palo Alto.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer government rebate agreements (e.g., Medicaid, Fee-for-Service, Managed Medicaid, State Supplemental and potential SPAP agreements) within Jazz s operating systems based on the term and conditions in customer agreements. Monitor contract requirements to ensure customers and Jazz remain in compliance with contract terms. Analyze utilization data as needed.

* Enter Medicaid FFS, Managed Medicaid, Supplemental and SPAP rebates into iContracts on a quarterly basis, performing system validations (i.e unit/script variance) and producing associated payment approval reports.

* Responsible for system maintenance and data stewardship, working closely with our iContracts business partners and internal IT teams to ensure daily continuity of essential job functions.

* Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment within the statutory 38 days in order to avoid costly interest penalties.

* Utilize iContracts invoice interface for loading Medicaid rebate invoices per CMS approved e-invoices from all participating states. Additionally, transition from the traditional paper-based ROSIs to electronic.

* Review and analyze claims level detail (CLD) for state programs (Medicaid FFS and Managed Medicaid) on quarterly basis. Adjust or dispute in accordance with Contract Operations policies and guidelines.

* Assist in the review and analysis of claims level detail (CLD) for state Medicaid programs on a quarterly basis in order to ensure utilization reasonableness and understand state rebate trends.

* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support disputes & adjustments, in accordance with government regulations.

* Leverage proprietary data from specialty distributors and external CLD data to ensure appropriate levels of Medicaid liability.

* Utilize iContracts reporting functionality and other data sources in order to analyze quarterly rebate trends and share insights.

* Attend iContract s training and user group conferences and webinars to ensure high level of technical expertise, aka Super User.

* Work cross functionally with IT, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Managed Markets, Reimbursement and Accounting to ensure accurate and compliant vendor and data information.

* Monitor PHS and Medicaid for double dip scenarios to ensure that Medicaid rebates and PHS chargebacks remain exclusive of each other and determine appropriate resolution steps if needed.

* Monitor the industry to stay abreast of current developments. Attend conferences, industry meeting and seminars as needed.

* Administer GPO, Tricare and Medicare Part D GAP rebates on a quarterly basis.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

* Requires BS/BA or 3+ years of industry experience

* 2 years of relevant work experience (contract operations, government programs, or analytics) preferred

* Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on follow-through and issue resolution are required

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

* Preferred working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx and third party Revenue Management System (e.g., iContracts, Model N, Revitas, etc).
