RWJBH IS SEEKING A LEAD RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN IN THE CARDIAC CATHE LAB AT THE NEW BRUNSWICK CAMPUS WORKING PRIMARILY DAY SHIFTS INCLUDING EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. THIS IS A FULL TIME 40 HOUR WORK WEEK.

Responsibilities:

* Supervises Cardiac Catheterization Technologists to assure that patient testing and technical procedures follow departmental guidelines.

* Oversees training, in servicing and annual competencies of Cath Lab Technologists.

* Provides training, in service on clinical equipment that may include, but not be limited to, X-Ray, Interventional devices, Ultrasound, to other disciplines.

* Provides support for technical/service issues. Ensures timely repair and follow up by service teams.

* Maintains QA & service logs to ensure regulatory compliance.

* Maintains workflow in the Cardiac Cath Lab to maximize efficiency of services rendered.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Cardiovascular Certification required.

* Associates degree preferred; graduate of NJ State Radiology Tech Program.

* At least 2 years of previous radiology technician experience required.

* Knowledge of sterile technique preferred.

* Current Cath Lab experience required.

* BLS, ALCS required.

* Must be able to communicate clearly and courteously with the listed interrelationships.
