The Physical Therapist - Acute Care provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy. Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. Participates in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education.
The above ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist, and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth anddevelopment contribution to the Medical Center.

Full-time, Day Shift

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Weekend Work Required - (Generally 2 weekend days/month but that is subject to the needs of the department)

Work Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224

Education:

BS, MS or DPT degree in Physical Therapy

Licensure/Certification:

Current Maryland State licensure as Physical Therapist required.

AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of acute care experience preferred
