Position Summary:

Reporting to the JHHS Medical Director for Occupational Health Services (JHHS OHS), the Occupational Health Nurse will be cross-trained on all pandemic-related activities and will provide flexible support to the local Hopkins OHS entities on both pandemic and traditional OHS tasks. Primarily focused on the pandemic related intake, triage and testing of Johns Hopkins employees and students, the JHHS OHS nurse will work to ensure workforce/student preservation and safety as part of the Johns Hopkins Covid-19 Call Center (JHCCC). As a system-level OHS team member, the JHHS OHS nurse will perform the core functions of the JHCCC and will adapt to address needs for possible surge capacity at the local OHS entities during a pandemic as necessary.

Education::

BSN from an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure/Certification:

Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required

BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted

Certified in Occupational Health Nursing through ABOHN as a COHN or COHN-S preferred.

Work Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse in preferably an Occupational Medicine, Emergency Department, Outpatient or Urgent Care setting.
